Our Master Gardener

I was fortunate to grow up and be surrounded by a gardening family – parents, grandparents & friends.  At a young age I learned how to tend a vegetable garden and weed (the yucky part).  I live in Brule with my husband, Frank, where we enjoy our own garden and the beautiful surrounding area.  In the past year I have completed the Master Gardening program through the Devonian Botanic Garden and the University of Alberta.  It was a great course and I added to my learning with like-minded gardeners.  I have recently set up my own business, Down to Earth Gardening, and provide gardening maintenance, tree and shrub pruning and landscape design consulting.  I also volunteer at the Hinton Library, maintaining the library grounds.  I love to talk gardening!  If you have any questions, please feel free to send me an email – pictures are always a help to resolving or identifying problems.  Give me a call at home, 780-865-7134 or on my cell 780-315-9824.  Happy Gardening!
